You’ve always dreamed of going to Hawaii and now that you’re getting married, you would love to have your wedding there as well as honeymoon on the islands. But who could afford it? First of all, there are plenty of wedding ceremony/reception services in Hawaii that will do everything for you for a very reasonable cost. Actually, they will provide wedding coordination, flowers, bride’s bouquet, leis, limousine service, wedding cake, photographer and videographer, destination wedding favors, and the list continues. And if you only want the ceremony on the pure white sand, it can be coordinated for under $1,000. Now what were you saying about expensive?
What I’ve learned from all my years of consulting on weddings, there isn’t anywhere that’s too expensive. You just have to learn where to look and how to approach the day. The same, obviously, goes for Hawaiian weddings as well.
As I said, the ceremony is the easy part. Just throw a few wine stopper wedding favors on the chairs, and people will love it. Actually, the reception, if you choose to have it on the beach, is not so difficult either. Where you may run into a snag or two is where to stay for the honeymoon. Normally, that can be expensive. But, there are answers for even that dilemma.
If you scour the internet looking for private condo or home rentals, you will find some incredible finds. Also, if you don’t mind spending 90 minutes on a site tour, there are amazing values at timeshare resorts. Normally, for a 4 day/3 night stay, it will cost you $99 to $250, depending on where it is and how many amenities it has. There is also the possibility of securing a getaway, especially if you have a friend that is a member of RCI or Interval International. If you do your homework, you will find an extraordinary place at an extraordinary price.
So don’t stress. It might take you a little longer, but before you know it you will be off to your Hawaii destination. Just think of the amazing pictures you will have to show your kids. Palm trees, sun, and fun. Just make sure you come back to reality afterward!
